Candace and Carmen give it up for Jazz
Candace Slack and Carmen Hickson have both donated art pieces to the Guelph Jazz Festival's annual Spring fundraising art auction. The auction is set to roll on Sunday, April 19, 2009, in the afternoon. You can preview the 2009 artwork and get more details here.

Williams Mill artists partner with Habitat for Humanity Halton
The artists of the Williams Mill are excited to be partnering with Habitat for Humanity Halton for our Fall event. Our theme this year is "Home for the Holidays" and we are pleased to be hosting both a Silent and Live Auction Benefit event on Friday November 7 and Saturday November 8, 2008.
Our auctions will begin on Nov. 7 with stations located in various studios. Silent bidding will continue Saturday and conclude in the evening with a live auction hosted by the Glass Studio and a celebrity auctioneer.
This will be the perfect opportunity to acquire a new piece of art for yourself or as a gift while contributing to a great charity.
The gallery of the Williams Mill will be featuring new work from Mill artists and will be on view and for sale until the new year.
