Williams Mill Feminine Edge Connection at Bartlett Gallery, Alton Mill

The selected art work of Williams Mill mixed media artist Candace Slack (Williams Mill Studio in the Yellow Mill) is featured in "Feminine Edge", an upcoming art exhibition at the lovely Bartlett Gallery in the Alton Mill.  March 9th  to April 3rd .

Meet Candace at the Opening Reception March 12, 1 - 4 p.m.

The artwork of artists Annette Kraft van Ermel and Bev DeJong is also featured. Bev DeJong was one of the first artists to have a studio at the Williams Mill. You may also remember her as one of the artist founders, along with Williams Mill artist Jo Walterson, of the Forge studios in Terra Cotta.  She now works out of her Terra Cotta home studio.  She is fondly respected by many in the artist community.

I know you will enjoy this show by these talented artists and they look forward to meeting you at the opening.

48th annual Toronto Outdoor Art Show selects two Mill artists

Glass artist Andrea Ripley and mixed media artist Carmen Hickson were selected from over 1300 applicants to participate in the 2009 Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition (TOAE) held at Nathan Phillips Square July 10, 11, and 12.

As the largest outdoor art exhibit
ion in Canada, the TOAE offers a fresh-air alternative to conventional art shows and galleries. Approximately 500 artists participate and over 100,000 visitors attend the exhibition every year. Side by side, established artists, undiscovered talents and innovative students sell their work directly to the public and make lasting connections with art dealers and collectors.

You can visit Andrea in booth #321 in the Green section and Carmen will be at booth #530 in the Turquoise section
