Painting of Christine Montague Williams Mill Studio at Art Gallery of Mississauga

An oil  painting of Christine Montague's studio in the Williams Mill Stone Building has been accepted into the 33rd annual Visual Arts Mississauga Juried Art Show until Feb 26th at the Art Gallery of Mississauga, by Square One.  That's not the only mill connection. Christine's daughter, the figure featured in the painting, and the subject of many of the paintings within the painting, worked at the Williams Mill Gallery, thanks to a summer student grant.

Christine Montague moves upstairs

Oil painter Christine Montague has moved her studio from the lower level of the Stone Building to the upper level. She will be occupying the studio previously held by Jim Reid of Four Sticks Framing (who has moved his studio to Caledon).
Christine will be taking advantage of the wonderfully high ceiling and large wall space by hanging her recent giant cat paintings. A must see!
As usual Christine will be participating in our Second Saturday Event so make sure to visit her in her new space.
