Tizi Manierka and Innerscapes showcase new work
Innerscapes, a group of local artists to which Mill artist Tizi Manierka belongs will be showing new works in their new show titled "For the Love of Art" running February 3 to 28 at the Main Street Inn, 126 Main Street South, Georgetown... 905-702-5411
Artist in the kitchen, Tizi Manierka
Gourmets listen up, could you create a four course meal in a microwave and a toaster oven? During a recent fundraiser at the Mill Bob Gee and his wife Janice bid on such a promise. Our very talented Tizi Manierka with the help of Peter Perko prepared and served a mouth watering luncheon in the tiny kitchen located on the second floor of the Yellow Mill.
They prepared a very nice meal of roast pork and roasted veggies (cooked in the toaster oven that was originally donated to us by the talented and generous Gabrielle Horvath), and a lovely salad prepared by Peter. Lunch was preceded by bruschetta and cocktails and finished off afterwards with Tiramisu.
The occupants of the Yellow Mill are always surprising us with their hidden talents. Bon Appetit!
